desktop alias icons

ok, i have a lot of alias's on my desktop, like halo, ilife apps, word, etc, and one thing thats just started happening is that the incon will dissappear and it will just be the name, i can't even click where the icon SHOULD be, its like it just vanished........i have a screenshot, but i don't know how to put it into the post

oh, and when i go to the desktop thingy in the toolbar of a finder window, the icons show up fine, its not that big of a deal, more of an annoyance

I think I know what your talking about but just want to check the photo

Ok when you post you will see the wrting window, scroll down to the Additional Options and click manage attachments, then you can upload that picture and make the post
