Desktop Background Issues

Greetings!

I am having a slight technical problem with my macbook pro. When I set a background image and then restart, it returns to a previous image I selected about a month ago. Every time I put a new image up, restart the computer, it resorts to the old image. Anyone know how to fix this?

Try setting the wallpaper, logging out, logging in, and if it's still there, then restart.
