Hi All,

I have a macbook air and a thunderbolt 27 inch monitor. My understanding is the macbook air is 1440x900 and the thunderbolt is 2560x1440. When I resize a very large image to 2560x1440 it looks awesome on my thunderbolt but horrible when I go home on the 1440x900 and it looks stretched out. How can I do background images that will look great and be full screen/not stretched?

Thanks,

Greg

are actually resizing it in an image editing program or do you mean a wallpaper that is fitting to resize to the resolution?

The best bet I can think of is always get the higher resolution wallpaper and it will normally fit to any screen size/resolution without looking distorted.

I use interfacelift and get the 2560x1440 resolution backgrounds and they look crystal clear on the iMac, MacBook Air and iPad.
