Desktop background slideshow

Hey guys,

I created a series of images to use as a time-sensitive desktop background, and have put them in a folder and imported them into my System Preferences and they look great and they cycle correctly - for the most part. My problem is that whenever I shut my computer off or set it to sleep, the cycle is disrupted and I have to reset it. Is there any way I can bypass this?
