I was looking at an iMac on display for sale, and it had on the Desktop a very simple small round analogue clock with a black surround and a white face ,and black hands making it very easy to see , it was about an Inch in diameter , I did ask the sales assistant about the desktop clock, but they could not say where it came from, Ive searched for a few day's now but no luck in finding this desktop clock .... do you know where I can find it ..? :)

Thanks

There used to be anoption in Tiger and probably earlier to have the system clock appear on the destkop. With Leopard they removed this feature however this hint tells you how to get it back.

If you use Opera you can use an opera widget clock here, although opera has to be open to do that.

You could put the dashboard clock on the desktop.

If you want something else then there are some vairous 3rd party applications that can do something similar
