Desktop created date -- any way to change?

I had to turn off my iBook before the initial setup was finished... I never got to the point where I had to put the time/date in... I figured the next time I turned it on, I could just start from the beginning, but it just booted up with what info I gave it. Anyway, when I right click my desktop, under general info it says it was created sometime in 1969.. Is there any way to change this date? It's not a big enough deal to me to reinstall OSX with the discs I got with my iBook, but if there is some setting I can change somewhere that would be awesome...
