My mother is quite distressed because she turned on her mac and found that every file and folder on the desktop bar Mac HD was gone, the only thing i can think of that might have affected this is that all of those files had their permission changed to No Acess in Get info last time it was on. Is there any way to recover the files? I have tried searching but they wont turn up.
