Desktop Docs after upgrade to Catalina

I just upgraded to Catalina which was successful when it powered up there were a folder on my desktop with some Info I can’t remember what It was I right clicked to save it but the options to save it was not. a option so I sent it to trash and deleted it should I have saved it ?

I had also a folder after upgrade.

This folder is to inform you. about applications / documents or else that could not be fully optimized for Catalina. No worry about it if you trashed it. If no document is missing in your finder (download / recent ...) no problem.
