I am using Leopard 10.5.1, and my desktop image continually changes back to the cosmic view. You know the one, thats used in all the promo shots for leopard. No matter what I change the desktop image to, within a minute it switches back to cosmic view. Please help. Thanks.

yes, highlight the folder, hit command-I, and at the bottom make sure that you can read and write.
at least try moving the folder to the desktop and see if the problem persists (then reassign the file path in the desktop/screensaver preferences)
