Hello to everyone,

I just switched to a Mac after 12 years of Windows.
So far my experience is pure frustration. Yes I need to give it some time, whatever.

Can anyone please tell me why the desktop notifications from Gmail are not working in either Firefox or Safari? Yes I did the correct settings, nothing is wrong in notification center. Chrome notifications are working fine. Please don't point me to stupid tutorials on how to set the desktop notifications, I'm not retarded. I know my way around computers well, but this **** notebook just beats me.

Here is another stupid problem. Chrome is eating 80% of my CPU when watching a video on youtube. Yes my flash plugin player is fine and updated.
Firefox only 30%. Just for watching a stupid ****ing video. Thanks apple, $1200 machine. How do I fix this?

There is no complete or straightforward uninstall process. Move the item to trash it is deleted. But **** why does it appear in activity monitor as open even after a restart? I have to download an app for it to uninstall it completely.

So before ranting on other stupid little problems I encountered, am I the only with the notifications problem? And what about Google Chrome issue?

It just works my ass.
