Desktop Profiles?

I often connect to my mac from work using VNC but when I do I need to change the screen resolution and I also change the background to a solid color to speed VNC up. Then when I'm home I have to change it back again. I'm looking for a way to quickly switch between pre-defined "desktop profiles". Anyone have any ideas? My searches have not turned up anything.

Are you using Screen Sharing?

If so, go to View and click "Adaptive Quality." Also make sure it says "Turn Scaling Off," which would mean scaling is on.

Let me know how that works.
