After much negotiation/advice/goading, my dad is finally looking to switch from Windows PC to Mac.
I've managed to find like-for-like software to make his transition as smooth as possible, but one area I'm having problems with - and the current deal breaker - is finding an application which can measure distances, areas and perimeters on screen.
On his Windows PC he currently uses this application: http://avpsoft.com/products/udruler/ to measure sizes of land etc.
Does anybody know a similar piece of software available for the Mac?
