Friend of mine in real life helped me fix it.
In Yosemite, how do I stop the desktop from switching over to a new alt screen every time I open a new folder?
I just want to open a folder of any kind and have the screen not move, switch, or jump somewhere else. I looked everywhere online to find a solution, but couldn't find anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm starting to have motion sickness when I use my iMac because of this problem.
