Man, there has to be a way to control play/pause/rw/fw in Realplayer for Mac with hotkeys or with a foot pedal, but after weeks of looking, I still can't find anything. Can anybody help?

I transcribe video for a living, but since switching to Mac, my only working method is to convert the realmedia file to mp3, and then transcribe the audio, going back later to insert timecodes, etc.

Converting to mpeg hasn't worked for me, using ffmpegX.

I would be eternally grateful if anyone could offer some sort of advice. Thanks!

About all you get is spacebar for play/pause and command-leftarrow to rewind to the beginning of a clip. Oddly, there is full volume/mute control from the keyboard.
