Detailed information on the MacBook Pro displays

Does anyone have detailed information on the latest MacBook Pro displays, such as gamut, viewing angles and technology used etc?

The 17" sounds like it's the closest to a desktop display, but is it 6 or 8bit, for example...

There is a thread about this here already.

The viewing angles are rather not so great IMHO with 140 degree Horizontal and 120 degree Vertical, which is much less than the 15" screen which is 160H and 140V.

And Apple no where claims 16+ mio colors only talking about 'millions' which seems to suggest it's 6bit rather than 8bit.
