Carrier Determine if iPhone 6S A1633 is AT&T or unlocked?

I bought an iPhone 6S a few months back. The seller advertised it as the AT&T model, but assured me that it would work with T-Mobile (my carrier). It did work on T-Mobile, but now I am looking to sell the phone again. However, I am unsure whether to list it as "unlocked" or just a "GSM" version of the phone. Since it appears it was not locked to AT&T, is it safe for me to market this device as "unlocked"?

I'd list it as unlocked since it is unlocked.
It will even work on CDMA verizons network and any gsm carrier in the world.

If it was still locked you never would have been able to use it on T-Mobile.

Locked means locked to carrier, not type of network.
