So, I have a new MBP, and obviously should have 4GB or RAM, and that is what it says in about mac, but i just launched After Effects and it said using 4% of 3GB? Do you think this is just AE? Why would it say that, is there a way to 100% determine how much RAM is in my machine?

AE only uses at max 3GB of ram. i've got 10GB of ram in my tower and when i launch AE it says using 5% of 3GB
