my question is simple
when you get the developer package (student one)
in the box do you get the full version of OS X 10.5
also you get one hardware upgrade (say u use it on a laptop)
can you still order say an iPod at the developer discount or no

Everybody gets the same in the box stuff just students get a discount. like me

I am asking what comes in a Developer Box that you get when u signed up to be a student Developer

a copy of mac os x
an a dvd of developer stuff:
xcode
adc reference library
tools and dev. kits

It is the full retail version you get with the developer mailings. It is not a specialized version that will only install on the machine it came with, like the restore disks you get when you buy a machine.

So one can sell this, cuz if u get a new computer there is no need to OS X 10.5 since you get it on restore disks

While you could sell it, it is in violation of your developer license if I remember correctly. The software you get as part of a developer account is all considered NFR (not for resale).

I got my student ADC membership about two weeks ago and haven't been notified of anything shipping... I take it this is wrong, or do I not get the tshirt/OSX etc. with the student membership? I've already received the MBP I ordered with it, so I'm a little confused as to whether or not I'm supposed to be getting anything else...

They dont notify you, you just get it one day. Mine took about 2 months to get.

I had my shiny new MBP in my hands 1.5 weeks after order, with ADC
