Developer Seeds and Retail Edition differences

I finally got around to, and legally I might add, upgrading from my developer preview version to the actual retail version...

Most stuff seems very similar, though one "feature" I loved was an ever so slight blur and fade effect when menus closed is now MIA... Very odd.

Did anyone else notice and subsequently miss this effect.

Also, anything else that is now MIA?

Well if they do ever add (back) that feature I hope they make it optional. It will cause the UI efficiency guys to break down in a fit.
