iOS Developing for other businesses

I'm considering trying to make a little extra money by picking up some small jobs on the freelancing sites.

Now, if someone wanted me to develop an app that they were going to try to sell on the app store, whats the proper way to go about this? Would I have them register as a developer and submit the app under their name?

depends on your agreement with the customer, but I think most of them would rather make their own developer account and put their app as the checks will be written in their name.
