devices is not showing up in my itunes for my iphone 4

I have the latest itunes installed but there is no devices category for me to access my iphone 4 in itunes. any ideas?

What version of iTunes - exactly?

iTunes 10 and I am on a PC using Windows 7

Does the phone show any signs of being plugged in? Charging, connected to iTunes, etc.

yup, it is charging, windows asks me to import pics etc, just not showing up at all in itunes.

Reinstall iTunes.
