devolonetsvc process at 100%?

I have a CPU process (owned by root) called devolonetsvc which is running at 100% .

Anyone know what this is?

If I do need it if I kill the process will it restart itself?

killed it, networking still works. all good now

Devolo DLAN Cockpit

I had problems with the fan on my 8GB/500GB MBA 2013 running continuously, and the base getting VERY warm, and discovered that devolonetsvc was chewing >100% CPU (neat trick, that!). I uninstalled Devolo DLAN Cockpit, the process went away, my MBA cooled down and the fan has finally stopped. Phew!
