Ever since I've been running Evernote, Crashplan, TimeMachine/TimeCapsule, my unibody Macbook is not so zippy anymore. Especially when working with Lion's new MacMail. I have a 7200RPM Drive installed but that doesn't seem to help.
1. Is DevonThink Pro Office any less of a CPU speed eater compared to Evernote?
2. Would archiving 20,000 MacMail messages to DevonThink Pro Office speed up MacMail?
