DFU? Recovery mode?

I went to update my phone and while doing so it shut off and went into recovery mode or DFU mode? (Connect to iTunes screen)...now when I try and restore it another message says "device isnt eligible for requested build"...now I havent done any sort of Jailbreak and i dont mind if I lose all my files as its a brand new phone and theres hardly anything on it!...Ive tried everything from (Holding Home+Off button,Restoring,Recboot,TinyUmbrella) and still no Luck...Help please!
