This weekend my time is going to be split between the Terra MMO beta and Diablo 3
I have 9 papers in the next 20 days, great..

Problems logging in, says something about not having a D3 license. Anyone facing a similar issue?

I'm secretly hoping it won't be renewed because I don't have time for video games lately .....

EDIT: Hm...I thought CEST was a weird way of saying "Central Standard Time" but it appears its some kind of European time...
I have played the Beta through to the end (lvl 10-13 ish) and if this is true (open Beta) I can have my buddy keep me company now!

The witch doctor did look neat. I'm not sure what classes there are but I'll have to look them up before the game starts.
If I found a correct website, it should open in the next 45 minutes.
That should be right for the open time.
This should be a good test of how Blizzard's servers do under heavy load.. and I do think there are going to be many thousands of people joining for the weekend. I've been playing for a week and haven't really noticed any lag at all, but at the same time, haven't had any friends to play with. Should be fun!
I feel you. I've been a happy gamer for over 20 years, but . . . subscriptions, IAP's, pointless DLC, and an overall decline in gaming 'depth' . . . hopefully Brian Fargo's successful kickstarter.com campaign for Wasteland 2 can turn this ship around . . .

I know that will be my main when I play. I was quite surprised that the beta lasted only to lvl 10 but it was a good teaser that got me wanting to continue with the story line and check out new areas etc so it was a good feel for the game.
Next class to play this weekend is Barbarian.

Diablo III will not be subscription based. The login screen looks like that for Starcraft II as well so it doesn't really mean anything.
I can't imagine the people downloading the client to play this weekend have a different client than others already in the beta. The max level for it should be level 13.
Shame on all of you for getting me excited about this game again

Yea I still can't get in. After my username and password it just times out after a minute : /
What? It's a stress test. They have a month to meet the demand they've met today. Stop whining. It's a pent up demand of a decade. Things were not going to go perfectly fine.
I got in about 5 mins after. I hit up a few quests, got to the first waypoint and returned to town and logged off. I'm at work (it is only 2:39 PM) so I can't risk goofing off for much longer.
Note: My work computer is a 21.5" iMac 3.06GHz Core2Duo with the NVIDIA 9400M 256MB and it sucks/pretty much unplayable at 1920x1080. I knocked it as low as 1280x800 or whatever to make it run decently.
