Anybody with a new 2011 15.4 in macbook pro tell me how Diablo 3 runs? My pc has crapped out on me, and I have a macbook air for sale. So I was thinking about just picking up the 15.4 in and using it as both my desktop and laptop. I need the portability for school so this is my only option for now. I really dont use my desktop enough for me to warrant spending any money on it, if I can just get a laptop that can handle the small amount of games I do play on pc. I also dont care about the refresh either, I dont know what apple may do to the 15in and I want the optical drive so this is my only option as of now.

Mac: MacBook Pro (15" 2011) • CPU: Intel Core i7-2860QM @ 2.5GHz • RAM: 2.36GB/8.0GB [❙❙❙|❙❙❙❙❙❙❙] • HDD: 341.84GB/475.35GB [❙❙❙❙❙❙❙|❙❙❙] • GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6770M [1024 MB] & Intel HD Graphics 3000 [512 MB] Res: 1680 x 1050 • Audio: AppleHDA • Power: 43% [3:13] • OS: OS X 10.7.4 x64 • Kernel: Darwin 11.4.0 • Up: 4:41 • Clien

that's my macbook pro, it plays fairly well w/ shadows off, ground clutter off, & anti aliasing off, everything else high.. game still looks fine imo, 45-47fp solid (play up to 1080p windowed on TB Display w/ no performance degradation)

Late 2011 15'' MBP, 6750 GPU, high res screen. I play at native resolution with shadows medium and everything else maxxed out, on OSX. My fps is usually in the high 20s and low 30s, but dips down to 20 occasionally.

Performance should be better on the 1440x900 screen, but I am happy with how the game runs on my machine.

I don't know how things work out with windows on the same machine, it might be faster.
