Are their any hacks/mods for mac that allow you to create//edit items?

Been playing every moment since I managed to get it installed, problem is when playing online everyone else is super strong/buffed and in comparison I'm really weak and cant really bring anything to the table.
I even strugle to stay alive with my necro in hell and it took me 40 minutes (and lots of golems) of hitting away at Izual to take him down

This is why I just play that game single player. It's an older game, but I still really like it as a casual game.

yeah, but the day blizz stop people being able to hack and create items that are super strong then no one will need to hack. untill then....hack hack then hack some more! (well if I could find a proggy to hack with!!!)

You don't need to hack. If you're not strong enough for hell, go to nightmare and do a load of mfing on mephisto/trav council/shenk/eldritch/pindle. that'll level you up and get you some good gear.

Diablo 2 is a game that takes A LOT of time investment in order to be really good and competitive online. I do not know of any hacks on Macs, but seriously, I don't think you need it. Keep playing it and you will only get better... afterall, what's the hurry? The fun part is building your character up.

If you're talking about PvP, you will likely need to have invested a lot of time and effort in order to be competitive. And the harsh reality of D2 now is that most people build crappy characters, but use hacks to stay competitive online in PvP. Please don't be another one of these guys... Just keep playing and you will eventually be able to beat 90% of these guys that hack, while staying 100% legit.

simple hacks

You can do a few simple hacks without using any additional software. Just copy the save folder to another location for an instant backup and save point. If you want to cheat further, then try this just before you kill a major boss such as mephisto. If you don't like the loot, load your save and try again. This works best in offline or LAN play but some have had success with manually modifying files for online play. Use at your own risk.
