Diablo ll unexpectedly quit?

I recently installed diablo ll to my macbook pro but every time i try and open it up i get the same error message saying in unexpectedly quit. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 5 or 6 times. If anyone has any idea how to fix this please help!!!!

I think it doesn't work anymore on Lion

There were some problems with old Blizzard titles and new OSX versions. I think either the Installer or the Launcher is written for PowerPC, and once Apple dropped the legacy support for the PPC Macs from OSX, the Blizzard games stopped working.

Dialo II is old and very poorly supported on OS X, I strongly suggest you install it on windows, I never got it to work more than 5 minutes in a row on OS X, and believe me, I tried everything.
