My MBP just won't go to sleep via inactivity. If I close the lid or select sleep via the apple menu its fine. But the inactivity timer just won't send the device to sleep.

So far I've tried

- Deleting powermanagement.plist
- Creating new user account
- Watching console for errors in logs
- Deleting all startup items

I'm using a 2nd disk setup with a cheap alternative to MCE Optibay. Could this be the issue?

Are there any other better ways to try to diagnose the sleep issue? Windows has a very good power management helper which displays what is causing the system to wake. But in this example the system isnt even getting to sleep.
