Dial pad problem

Hi,
Something odd is happening on my iPhone (I have an iPhone 6). Oftentimes when I open my dial pad I briefly see this: 1 (xxx), and then it disappears. The numbers are always the same, and are the area code for a number I blocked on my phone (an ex of mine). Why is this happening? I'm not entering the numbers, nor is anyone else around me. Please help. It's worrisome and unsettling. Thanks to anyone with advice.

I'm only concerned because it continues to happen and I don't know why. It doesn't really matter what the number is, I need to understand why this is happening and how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

Is it actually interfering with you dialing anything? If it isn't hindering your phone use, it's not really that big of an issue.
