I've had a bit of a hunt already 'round the forums, but apologies if there's loads of stuff on this already...

G4 dual 1.42, OS 10.3.4...

Often it won't connect or disconnects unexpectedly, or makes odd high-pitched (not the usual) sounds without connecting... it's driving me up the wall.

Broadband for me is still a few months away so I've got to put up with it, for now.

Any suggestions? Is it the modem script? Is it something I can fix?
