Dialing numbers with extensions

This is probably a stupid question, but I want to program numbers for my contacts and ahve the phone call the number plus the extension.

Can it be done?

After typing the number, press the "+*#" button, and then select "Pause", and then insert the extension.

Great tip ziggyonice. Not a stupid question bossone, this is a common problem.

Related question: Does this work for all those multiple choice inputs required for access? Example: Can I enter phone#, 1(English), ###### (account number), 3(payment), 5(credit card), ########### (card number)? I'm assuming that the comma is inserted for each PAUSE.

This would certainly save a lot of steps. Thank you.
