Hi all...
So to put this in context. I have a 2013 Honda Civic with iMid in-car information system, or whatever they call it... Anyways, the integration with the iphone is pretty good, except for one thing...
Currently, there is no way to activate Siri, unless you manually do it from the home button. There is a voice dial button on the steering wheel, but it only activates the proprietary honda one, which you have to manually configure, and leaves much to be desired...
The interesting thing is, whenever you activate siri, the honda acts like it is in a call. So that got me wondering, if there was some sort of backdoor to Siri, that you could activate it via the keypad... I found this youtube video where a guy dialed 7* on his mercedes radio (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhJ4XcF7_nY)... But this does not seem to work for me....
Does anybody have any thoughts or ideas on this? Is this a lost cause?
