I am finding that iOS Dictation is WAY better at recognizing my voice that Siri. When I'm dictating an email or text by pressing the microphone button on the keyboard, dictation gets what I'm saying 98% of the time.

Siri gets what I'm saying 50% of the time or possibly less.

How could this be? Are they using different methods for voice recognition? Anyone else having this experience?

I agree it's better, I think the reason that it's better is because Siri is trying to turn everything she hears into commands that it recognizes, where as dictation is just listening for any English word.
