I have recently been experimenting with the dictation features built in to OS X 10.10. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia (a rare neuropathic pain condition), as well as other neurological issues. Sometimes, typing is hard (or next to impossible) due to the conditions and/or medications. I take classes online, and thought dictation would be helpful. So far, it is. I use a USB headset microphone, so,it's fairly accurate. My question is this: are there any hidden tricks to get more out of the built in dictation programs or should I shell out $200+ to get Dragon Dictate for Mac? Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you!
