First, let me say I searched this forum and found many related threads, but not one on this exact topic. I'm really sorry if I'm posting a duplicate thread!

One of my favorite features of previous iOS versions was the dictation feature. I use it all the time for text and emails, and have gotten really proficient with it.

I'm finding it is a bit changed and a bit "off" in iOS 8. In previous iterations, when I stopped dictating and then restarted the system was smart enough to either pick up in the middle of a sentence, or if I stopped at the end of a sentence it would properly (space, capital letter) begin a new sentence when I restarted the dictation. Now it is very literal. If I stop at the end of a sentence, then re-start dictation the system puts no space after the punctuation and does not capitalize the first letter of the new sentence.

Is this the way the system is supposed to work? It seems like it is going backwards to me...
