Ok,
I've been trying to use the whole cmd+apple+d thing, but nothing would pop up lately. (it used to before) I checked my Dictionary.app and it has a caution triangle with a "!" inside of it beside the search bar. If I type anything in to search, no results are found. I think the database for my dictionary has been erased. Anybody know how to fix this? Or what the dictionary preferences are called? Thanks

I was actually about to make a post documenting the same thing yesterday. I didn't know what was going on, so I did the classic PC restart and when it booted back up dictionary was fine. Still have no idea what was wrong and why the triangle with the exclamation mark was there.
See if a restart will work for you too :)
