I am a new iPad mini owner. While reading a book, I would like to look up some definitions. Tapping the word doesn't seem to do anything. Does this feature work on some books/publications but not others?

If your reading in iBooks, you can long-hold on the word and a list of options should pop up, one of them being 'Define'.

If not, you can always write the word in Notes and define it from there.
