I've been trying to use Mocha VNC and Remote on my iPod and neither will connect to my laptop at all. Also I'm trying to use Chicken of the VNC to play with my JB'd iPod and that just beachballs forever and I have to force quit. I've looked through my firewall settings and tried other VNC clients on my laptop but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix or do I have to wait for redevelopment of all of my apps?

I just looked and the only thing that came up for Chicken of the VNC was a deprecated command that would be removed in a later release of OS X. Nothing came up when I tried to run Remote to control my iTunes and still nothing when I try VNC from my iPod. I'm wondering if it has something to do with a recent package I installed on my JB'd iPod but it seemed to start when I upgraded to 10.6.2.

You checked the firewall settings, but did you try just turning it offto see if it made a differnece?
