All iPads Did Air or rMini fix huge black bars when watching a movie?

Which one would be better for watching HD movies?

Was not a big fan of the huge black bars on my iPad 1. I think it has something to do with the iPad's ratio being 4:3?

But I was wondering if either of the two new iPads or iOS 7 fixed this/made it better.

Its better for most things but I guess playing movies isn't one of them.

Luckily I do very little of that on mine; mostly Hulu.
