For real?
Of course a lot of people did this. Is it worth starting a topic over? No.

I couldn't decide between the 32GB and the 16GB, but that certainly helped my decision :p I'm glad I got the 32GB now, as I used more then 16GB of it

Take the 32. You will be happy later. Trust me on this. Photos and Video will take up extra space.

I have 14 gig remaining and only three pages of apps - 1200 songs - 6 videos - and over 200 photos.

Get the 32. Thank me later.

i bought a 16gb and i will be trading it for a 32gb. i've been recording a lot of video, and i believe that every 10 minutes of 720p video recorded equals 1gb data. so unless you dont plan or recording video, get the 32gb.

honestly, to me the 32GB is a must. quite frankly I think they should have gone 32/64GB for this generation.

Admittedly, I was not an iphone user previously, but I did have an ipod touch 32GB. Because I was limited to using a lot of apps on wifi, I didn't use it for that as much - i simply used it for the music aspect, with some non-internet based gaming mixed in. I stored every song from every CD I own and used about 21GB of space... With the iphone 4, I had to really pare down my music...

With the iphone 4, I find I am using apps a lot more, and I have a lot more apps downloaded. In fact, I am using about 3.5 GB is apps (mostly Navigon, but still). I have about 9 GB of music (mostly DMB!), about 3 GB of video (and I haven't even started recording my own video yet! Once I do, I could see this increase) and very little space in pictures and other. I think I am using about 17 GB currently. If I want to take a couple of DVD movies on a trip with me, each one uses 2-3 GB. So I know I can manage the space I have, and I haven't maxed the 32GB yet, but it is easy to see how one could. I think 32GB/64GB would have made more sense. However, this is obviously personal preference...

Thats fortunate for you. I got the 16 because they didnt have any 32's. And yes it's only $100 or $8.33 a month for a year. Skip a few bought lunches :)

Do yourself a favor and get the 32GB. I got the 16GB and I wish I would have gotten the 32GB.

You will be shooting more videos because of the 720P.

You will be taking more pictures because of the bad a$$ 5 megapixel camera.

You will be loading more music because of the battery life and

You will be loading more movies because of the retina display.

Did this answer your question?

josielinnea u mad? :p

thanks everybody im going to get the 32gb tomorrow, i forgot about the HD video recording the iphone 4 has , that should take a lot of space & i have a lot of music too

i feel better about getting the 32gb now

Please learn to use the word they're correctly as in they are not there. Basic.

The Opposite

For me, it was the opposite. I wanted the 32GB and settled for the 16. Turns out, just as with the iPad, 16GB is more than enough for me. I could squeeze what I actually use into 8, but that would be as tight as my jeans are getting in my old age.

wow you guys are lucky in america, in canada i cant even seem to be able to find any 32gb iphones only 16 gb ones :(

Not one store, including best buy, a t& t's, especially Apple, or any other store had even one item in stock with iPhone in its title. No 3gs, no 4, nothing not one. My dad was nice enough to drive me nearly 50 miles to get one.

Am I the only one who experienced this? considering there are at least 10 stores carrying iPhone products in my area, and assuming they may have 15 or 20 in stock, were talking a lot of money! damn these things sold out.

Well i was going to get a 16G one, but went back and changed my order to a 32G one, Well i ended up with both a 16 and 32G one. So now i have two Iphone 4's.
Might make a great Christmas gift for someone. :D

I got the 32, the carrier shop had no 16 in (I coulnd't decide between the two so this decided it for me) and I'm so glad I did! Already got about 15GB of stuff on and I ain't had the phone long!
