Has anyone else noticed that behind craig, in the keynote this week, that the new iPhone 6 was sitting there on screen?

Its not a bezel, the speaker, home button are ?

Sure looks like the home button is gone, and the screen goes to the edges, as we have heard was happening. It has side buttons , but no home button front camera, or speaker

Display aspect ratio

Best I could measure, the aspect ratio of the phone above is 1.95:1

An Iphone 5S is 1136/640 or 1.775.

I think Apple is playing fun games. Who would expect them to show new devices in this way.

I think they got ya'all. Maybe its not the 6, but its coming...

When I saw it in the keynote, I said "what is that?" They switched from a regular iPhone up on screen to this one a few times. They had 5S in their hands, but the device on screen is yet to be identified.

I was wondering if image is showing smaller screen elements hinting at higher resolution screen

Nah obviously it's the rumored iPad Pro, 4 foot screen, that's actually not an image but the real thing stood up against the wall.

No, Why would they mid keynote change to a cropped display. Go back and watch the tape.

Watch last year's wwdc. They do this just to focus on certain things.
They crop out the iPhone so u only see the screens.

I won't lie I thought the same thing last year when they did it. But it's just a crop and zoomed in part of the presentation

What are you smoking:confused:

Oh my god. I really did laugh out loud on this one. LOL.
Yes clearly that is not the iphone 6

To make the screen bigger to the people in the audience...

Why would they show off the iPhone 6 without announcing it is a better question.

Because they can do whatever the F they want...

I am not saying the OP is right here. But wouldn't it be fun to just F with the minds of your fans just a little bit? Millions of people watched the keynote. We are talking about it now. I'd have that kind of fun if I had the power to do so.

Umm...ok...

I don't think they were intentional trying to screw around with anyone. Its more that Apple fans are just paranoid.

I don't think they were either. It was asked why they might do that and I responded. Plenty of companies have released product shots in movies, tv shows, and even ads before their official announcement (not Apple, but this latest keynote was by far the most playful keynote I have seen from Apple to date). I just didn't think "it happens all the time" was a good enough response. :)
