on the keynote apple demoed panorama mode and showed a pic with what looked like 2 different people but they said it was the same person. Anyone tried to figure this out yet?

The person stands on the left and as soon as they are out of frame they run around behind the photographer and get into place before they come in frame again.
 
since its based on the photographers movement, the subject doesn't even have to move very fast...once they are in the shot they can go to another place and get added to the pano...as many times as they like.

Want an even cooler trick....have the person walk at the same pace you are taking the picture. That is a really interesting effect.
 
Here is an iP5 panorama "trick" shot. Coincidentally, its the only pic I've taken so far that has had a hint of purple haze.
