Good to see theyre really backing their own new products...

Do you think the new ACD/Vanity Mirror was giving too much glare under the stage lights?

Are you telling me they had no means what so ever to even attempt to try and advocate the new display?

I also found this to be interesting. The Keynote could easily have been powered by a MBP and the new display.

Yes. This is exactly what is being said.

Should the President of Toyota drive up to a corporate meeting in an 09 Yaris or a 08 Lexus IS?

They were using their fastest computer possible to run the iLife programs. So, in doing that they did not use the new display.

Exactly. iLife 09' hasn't been released yet so I'm guessing Phil was using a version that had debug code in it and that makes the app run slower. I believe Steve used to use an iMac.

I ordered iLife 09' and it says it won't ship till Feb. 2nd.

Um...

Mac Pro = DVI
Cinema Display = Mini DisplayPort
Mac Pro + Cinema Display = incompatible.

:D

Of course we noticed the old cinema display.
It was probably the most interesting thing in the whole keynote.

Sure the software updates are useful, but they hardly required an hour to present.
