Did anyone trade in their old mac?

I'm guessing you want to know the whole "is this a good price" thing? If so, a few more details would probably be needed. For one thing, "they" being who?
 
Surely can't be Apple as the website states mine isn't eligible as it turns itself off after a few seconds (2010 15" MBP with failed dGPU).
 
Best Buy offered me $350 US for a 2012 MBP with GT650M.

I don't know if I would part with a working computer for that much money. Might as well store it somewhere and use as backup or something.
