Did anyone's order ship via UPS?

And if so, and you've recieved your MBP, can you post your shipping status updates? I'm curious of what all mine has to go through.

Currently it is stuck in Shanghai because the flight it was on was cancelled for 'unseen circumstances'. I really hope they fix that soon. I kind of feel like mine was the only one to ship via UPS. Everyone else seems to be getting it through FedEx.

Mine is also delivered via UPS and also , the flight is canceled. Probably our two mbps are in the same plane.

The interesting thing is I'm from shanghai. Then my laptop stuck in shanghai.

I dont believe UPS any more.
 
yo guys when did you order? i ordered tuesday 530.. BTO... and im in toronto... i dont have a track number or carrier yet, its been prepared to ship for at least 2 days now?
 
Mine is on UPS...was picked up in Shanghai On Oct. 17..Expedited service and its showing delivery on Oct 23 in California. So much of expedited service! I wish I was on FedEx instead! :mad:
 
Mine has finally left China!
Though it just went directly to Japan. I'm pretty sure it's left that now and on it's way to North America. That took way too long, but at least it's out of Asia.

I ordered mine on Wednesday night around 10:30pm US central time, and within ten minutes it was 'prepared for shipment' and a few hours later it shipped.

I'm from Canada and I got UPS. It just left Alaska Friday and I ordered at launch. I'm from Quebec btw. I'm curious to see completed trackings.

My iPod shipped with fedex last month... Weird.
 
I ordered mine tuesday right after the announcement. I also did the printer deal. Well the printer shipped the next day and got here a day later (shipped fedex ground form memphis) my mbp didnt ship til the next day via federal express from china. Still havent received it. Is federal express the expeditied option? I didnt pay for expedited.

Federal Express = Fedex ;)
 
Looks like my MB was in the same plane as you guys when it got unloaded (why??) by the Airline. It's not on it's way from Osaka to Achorage (I presume) ... Can't wait! :rolleyes: I'm also in Vancouver BC, btw ...
 
Since friday my MBP just "left" Alaska. I hope tracking is late because there is no place on earth that can take that long to go to by plane. I'm with UPS BTW. Things were going faster with my iPod (using FEDEX) a month ago.

My understanding is that it's heading for Anchorage then Louisville. Once there I hope it will be direct to Vancouver .... but who knows .. :-(

UPS can munch on my balls as far as shipping to canada goes, you guys should've chosen non-expedited, they send it through fedex and it gets there earlier than expected.

I ordered my penryn 2 weeks after it came out, on a friday, I would've had received it if I had been home the next wednesday, regular shipping.

Yesterday mine saud "on time with a scheduled delivery of 10-24" and today that was removed, which worries me a little. :eek:

Odd, I was under the impression that Apple used fedex pretty much 100% of the time. I know quite a few people here in quebec that ordered macs and they all came in through fedex.
 
I hope i get mine in the next 2 days. i am feeeening for it right now

I ordered a base MBP. If it weren't for the price increase (150$ for Canadian students), I would have upgraded the HD but it's so easily changeable that I'll probably put in a 320GB 7200K someday. I'll add the RAM when I see a sale on DDR3 somewhere.

I can't wait! The iBook needs its successor.

edit: It left Mt. Hope 3 hours ago btw.
