Did apple just kill off mobile payments? Ex: square or gopayment?

I just realized this...because iphone 7 and plus don't have 3.5 jacks..did they just kill off the mobile payment? or are there another method of payment for those who use mobile payments?

Edit: Nevermind..i forgot about the adapter.

Along with the adapter, mobile payments can also be completed through the respective company's mobile apps (although the percentage fee may vary).
