I don't remember the last time apple did it, I know they did for the imac last year but that's pretty much it.
Did Apple live stream the iPhone 5 & 5s event?

Apple has never live streamed an iPhone event. They have streamed iPad and WWDC events before but never the iPhone. But who knows, maybe this year will be different.
They didn't stream iPhone 5S announcement last year, but they did it for the iPad and for WWDC.
This time they're moving to a bigger place and there's a lot of hype, I don't see why they would miss what is basically free advertising allowing people to watch the event live.
They really have to stream the announcement this time

I just want them to stream to windows computers so I can watch at work!
Other than that, live.twit.tv always has Leo and the crew giving play by play.

Actually yeah I think your right, I believe I just recall watching the event after it being posted on there website. My bad.

It's been confirmed that the event will be live streamed by Apple.
As mentioned before, they haven't, especially not for iPhone events.

How would you guys feel if Apple releases 4.7" iPhone 6 next week and couple of months later the 5.5 Version comes out?
If would be nice if they tell us about the bigger version this Tuesday for those who want the larger screen.

They wouldn't have people "join" them at 10AM (when the event starts), just to stare at a blank screen for a few hours until they upload the video.
It will be a live stream.
I don't think they'll announce two different iPhones in two different events, it would be very unfair.
Either they'll announce the 5.5 next week or next year.

I think they will announce both sizes at the event, with the disclaimer that the 5.5 inch device will come later this year.
The very nature of that "live" word means that it's not something that is done afterward, but is there as it happens.
