Today I was doing a lot of typing on iPhone 17 Pro when I noticed I wasn’t getting as loud of a keyboard click when typing like my iPhone 14 Pro or my wife’s 13 Pro Max running IOS 18.7. I checked all my settings and they are set correctly. I do hear clicks as I type, just not as loud on my older devices. I decided to stop by my local AT&T store and tested the keyboard click sound on all the iPhone 16 and 17 series that they had in the store. They all seemed lower than my older devices. Did Apple make changes on the newer devices? Before you could hear someone typing on the other side of the room.

It is not loud at all. Also Apple have one of the best Taptic Engine in a smart phone and it’s very weak if you turn it on for Keyboard clicks. Keyboard Haptics should be as good or even better than the Pixel 10 😞.
