I have received a message from my phone saying that I have installed apple os betas and I didn't do anything and they got my middle name which I did not give to them and they said they will disable my account, is this a scam my account is not disabled and nothing happened

If apple does this I will no longer use apple products

Thanks for replies

Sounds like a scam but not from Apple. Apple is not in the business of disabling users, lots of people have downloaded the Beta, and I havn't heard any stories about anything like that. Seems straaange. Their usually not in the business of blocking paying customers over piracy, if they did they would actually put numerical keys on their software.

Yeah, I am sure that Apple have "scammed" you. Didn't you hear, that's how they became a most valuable company in the world with billions of dollars in the bank, simply by "installing OS betas" and then disabling accounts of random users. Pure evil, I tell ya..

Apple are good at their job, clearly you installed iOS beta without being a developer so how does "I didn't do anything" even come into play.. Wise up!
